FoG Tournament in Potsdam (near Berlin) January 10th + 11th

First Berlin New Year Tournaments

Time and place: The tournament will be held at the Henning-von-Tresckow-Barrack in Potsdam on January 10th and 11th 2009.

Rules and Regulations:
Four games, 2 on Saturday starting at 10 AM and 2 on Sunday, starting at 9 AM.

Scale: 15 mm
Points: 800
Table size 180 x 120 cm

Army Lists:
Allowed Armies: All armies from all published books up to and including Decline and Fall. Only one list, which may not exceed 800 points.
Army lists must be submitted for checking in advance and must be received together with your registration by December 15th 2008.
Army lists must specify the number and size of battle groups and the order of march for deployment. They should also include the
territory list for the army.

Note: If it seems feasible we might try and pair historical roughly (very roughly actually) fitting armies during the first two rounds. Basically considering RoR, IF and LT as one pool, S&S and D&F as a second and SoA + EE as the third army pool.

Cost: Entry fee is 20.- € and is used to 100% to finance a Saturday night banquet.

Catering: The close by officers mess offers affordable food, drinks and snacks.

Lodging: Either for 10.- € per night in the barracks or if you prefer more luxurious lodgins there are several 3-5 star hotels within a 5 minute drive distance.

Other notes: Given advance notice it should be no problem to organize a transfer service from and to the Airports Tegel and Schönefeld or to the Train Station Potsdam
