Where is the LCVP in the Editor??

Geez I looked high an low in my editor with modded game and unmodded game and I can't find that sucker. No Higgins boat even though there are files for it. Does not show up as a unit in the editor.
No Higgins boat anywhere! I wanted to aliases it for a Daihatsu IJA landing craft -and I know the LCVP is in the GENERIC column in the UNIT file. I place my troops in the water and sure enough Troopships [also in the GENERIC column in the UNIT File] are there that turn into soldiers when they land on the beach. Is there a trick to call up the LCVP's?

Only modules I don't have are Finnish war and Blitzkrieg. Have all the Pacific/Burma/China DLC's.

Hmm evidently it's a problem that has been around before.

Maybe I'm a bit late here, however - I'm not sure if it was set to no_editor in earlier versions, but in 522 appears normally in the list of US naval units.

Hi bebro-I see in the units csv in the GENERIC column. Dont see it with naval units. what file is no-editor located at?

I think the LCVP is placed among the generics by 'accident'. It is part of the US naval units. The similar Landing Craft Tank is next to it.
If you select ie Germany, neither the LCVP nor the LCT are present. So these units are not available to all nations like (most) generic units are.

It is impossible to add these naval transports (Landing Craft VP and Tank) to a unit directly with the Editor. You need to create a trigger with Spawn Unit.

I also believe that if you have the suitable specialisations the game will add the correct transport to units deployed on sea in the editor or during the game.

Ah I see the game has to add it with a trigger rather then me at the creation of the scenario. Thanks.

I think the same thing.
The problem is being able to use the LCVP just in a single scenario.
