Crash after completing Chapter 14 - Avalon

Hello,
I am getting a crash after I complete "Chapter 14 - Avalon". I think this is happening after the video ends.

without more info as per link it's hard to say what has or maybe causing it

Grr.. I can't seem to upload any .txt extension files.. Which the DxDiag output is generated in, as well as the Error and output_log data..
Also I can't seem to upload any .dmp extension files..

How can I save them for you to see??

once the report / file has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

I got the game though STEAM, and I have the updates option set to "Always Keep This Game Up To Date." So I should be running with the most current version known to Steam.

[Update] Notice the patch notes link, and clicked on that.
It says that I am running: v1.0.9 – 21st September, 2017

thanks, can you make sure the game is using the card and not the inbuilt vga, and yes your using the latest patch

nothing game related in the report log

the game points to, "ERROR: SymGetSymFromAddr64, GetLastError: 'Attempt to access invalid address.'" basically means that our crash handler failed to locate where the code crashed. Unfortunately, that doesn't help at all when trying to figure out what happened other than its with an unexpected memory corruption.

maybe hardware maybe software, but unless the developers can reproduce it from a save, it may be hard to get around it, or this is my opinion, then again the developers may be able to read something else from the reports so may reply also.

can you get past the level? so your not stuck whiles it's being looked at etc?

a save maybe handy as they maybe able to move you on or try and replicate the error your seeing or having.

extra advice for laptops only,

always play games with power on
turn sleep and screen saver off

turn power settings to max and never turn off or go into low power mode etc

turn off gaming mode in win 10 and run with a cleaner profile, so less apps and programs are running, so nothing in the background can stop or interrupt the game while running, check AV logs to see if you running a gaming mode of a Anti virus, as some scan some don't while playing

some games, this isn't one of them also need more gaming access so older programs need adding into windows to work fully, and aren't loaded by default, but are in windows 10

also for older games, again not this one, and as your on a 64bit O/S, the 32bit and 64bit parts need installing, always the 32bit first, and the 64bit second even if the program is 32bit only

I can finish the level, go though the end story, but then it crashes.. From the one gameplay video I've seen, it looks the game is over after Chapter 14, so that is the end of the campaign. As such it does not seem like there is no need for me to go any further.

congratulation then if you have completed your first play through, not had any other reports of it crashing at the end, and as of yet no developer has seen or comments on your report or logs, but if they do they may bring up something to say why it crashed after the video etc from the logs and report so thanks for uploading and sorry again from the crash and error all the same

You had mentioned that I can provide a save that the developers may be able to use to help in their debugging.. Is there any way I can generate that for them, and send them a copy??

The developers are already looking into this issue. They don't need more logs regrading this issue.

Mine crashes too. Completed the Avalon mission, played the cut scene, then it crashed.

Funny thing is I actually managed to save a turn or two before the mission objective was completed. When I load that now, the game freezes. I can set actions, then when I hit End Turn, nothing moves.

Interestingly, the Steam Client didn't register the achievement of having completed the campaign.
