Yeah I think anyone who has played a miniatures tabletop game understands luck (both good & bad) more intuitively than computer gamers.

When I was a kid I played WHFB... I will always remember losing a Bretonnian Grail Knight to one skeleton archer firing at long range after moving (a 1 in 333 chance event IIRC).
