Question about generals.

Post by cankre »

How do you control how many generals your army will have for a battle? I see sometimes I have 2,3 or 4 generals. Is there a way to control how many generals will appear for battle, or is it random?

The system supplies one general for the infantry, one for each cavalry (not light horse) wing, and one for a cavalry reserve if there is one.

If you are missing one or other wing and reserve you will only get two generals.

If you use Autodeploy during Force Selection, you can to a large extent control this (you can click it more than once) and then after completing force selection you can tweak the deployment as you wish.

Gotcha... Is this in the rulebook anywhere? Seems to me it is a very important segment to Force selection.
