question about army generation during MP

Post by Lehnardtsson »

I created plenty of multiplayer's skirmish battles.
I am choosing my army - previewving army composition
I choose pot luck for my opponent

then I create
then many times I have no general at all. Why?
during setup I have no box to choose my unit.
what am I doing wrong?

manual is not so clear to me.

Good question.
I think how many cavalry/chariots you have and how dispersed they are on the wings and rear reserve area affects the # of generals but I don't much. Hopefully a smarter person can help you properly.
Do we have to manually assign generals to units?

If you choose pot luck for your MP opponent, the opponent will not get to choose his army, so the system does not let you choose your army either, for the sake of fairness.

This means that you don't get a force selection phase.

The lack of generals is a bug, resulting from the above, which you have just revealed the reason for. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will fix it as soon as possible..
