Field of Glory II Community Content
Field of Glory II, the latest masterpiece in ancient wargaming from Byzantine Games, has already conquered the hearts and souls of many among you.
One of the most praised features is - undoubtedly – the possibility of creating user content and modding basically everything in the game, from creating epic historical battles not covered in the vanilla version, making your own skin for units, new maps and terrains, even campaigns!
The possibilities are endless, and community members have already created a bunch of scenarios, campaigns and mods. Downloading them is the easiest thing on Earth!
The game has its own built-in mods system that allows mods to be downloaded directly into the game, so the only thing you need is to click on the “Download Community Content” button in the upper left side of the Epic Battles or Campaigns screen.
Check out below the list of user content currently available! Get more information about the game from its official Product Page!
Field of Glory II is on Discordand Facebook too!
But the news is not over, as we are going to play the game on Twitchtoday at 4 pm CEST!

Re: Field of Glory II Community Content
Thanks to all the creators of this extra content, much appreciated. I wasn't expecting so many so soon although after PS and SJ I should have expected it and great to have them in the much loved Ancient periods. Anyway my first battle in Antiochos Long is won and only 14 more to go!
Re: Field of Glory II Community Content
In P&S and SJ the download button pulsates whenever there is something new to download, I notice that it does not do that in FOG2. Is there any chance that feature can be introduced? Otherwise players that do not monitor the forums may miss new content.

Hi Paul
Thanks very much for adding the Tarantine cavalry models at such an early stage. For this period this was really needed. Could really do with something like it in so many of the army list that came with the basic game.
Any chance of some late Spartan Phalanx and Spanish Caetratus at some point ?
Kind regards
Ian

Re: Field of Glory II Community Content
It does. But only if you look at it. i.e. When you load up the program it checks that something has been added. But if you load the game again and nothing more has been added it doesn't pulse. So if you don't look at it the first time you load up the program after something has been added to the FTP, it won't pulse.Paul59 wrote:In P&S and SJ the download button pulsates whenever there is something new to download, I notice that it does not do that in FOG2.
Also there was something funny going on with the server today.

Paul these look really great
Re: Field of Glory II Community Content
Guys,
I went looking for these downloads and couldn't find any buttons allowing me to download player generated content anywhere on the game's home screen.
Where should I be looking?
Cheers.

IIRC when I was in the "epic battles" section, there is a small circular button along the top left edge of the screen with a globe icon. Click that.
The button might be on other screens too - but I don't have the game on the computer in front of me.
