Javelinmen without javelins

Post by Jagger2002 »

I was playing the Roman 105 to 25 BC army list. I bought some javelinmen and then noticed during the game that they don't have javelins. They are medium foot with the light spear POA only-no javelin missile capability. I was wondering if that is correct?

It is correct and they do have javelins. Watch them throw them at impact. That is what Light Spear impact capability represents.

i'd say you should just name it "javelins" instead of light spear... it would save you a lot of time explaining what it actually means.. and same thing with that unit.. they could be just named Tribal Spearmen, and not Javelinmen.

It is called "light spear" to distinguish it from "Javelins" shooting capability.
