Have tried to join but the system tells me I have to log in, when I am already logged in. I have been active on the MP server

Re: Field of Glory II Tournament
I'd like to play but I can't log in.
Re: Field of Glory II Tournament
Just to more closely clarify what @joggy said - selling points were:
- PBEM multiplayer option for us with low free time (kids, multiple jobs, other real-life stuff,...)
- number of armies in starting game set (I guess DLCs would be coming - especially looking for 100 year war
)
- close representation of tabletop game
And another of our friends joined in mean time
. I've been advertasing the game in our community, so hope to get more players soon

You should be able to log in using the same login as for this board. If you can't, I suggest you post in the technical support section of the forum.Arminius wrote:I'd like to play but I can't log in.

Re: Field of Glory II Tournament
and just another maybe dumb question, since I didnt play slitherine tournaments before and dont know how it works. Since I bought game on steam, and am unable to register a game on slitherine site, how will the game know that I'm same person as here on forum, since I dont see any corelation. Or will we get some kind of special option inside the game?

Good question, to which I do not know the answer.joggy wrote:and just another maybe dumb question, since I didnt play slitherine tournaments before and dont know how it works. Nevertheless, when you go into Multiplayer, all you have to do is login using your normal Slitherine login. (i.e. The one you use to log into this board).

Re: Field of Glory II Tournament
You absolutely can join if you bought on steam. The tournament is open to everyone... but this one is full.
We'll have another one coming very soon and expecting to have multiple tournaments running simultaneously.

The chess clock system is not used any more. The round will run till the end of the round (7 days). See the rules in the first post for what happens if the game is not completed before then.Mirek69 wrote:How much time the player has ? 48 hours or more ?

Dont stress it mate I'm learning as I'm playing no beta testing here just three days of multiplayer and campaign play best way to learn is by having a goCaptaii wrote:The tournament is too fast. New players do not have a chance with the beta veteran players with hundreds of hours, because they have not had time to practice.
