Patch Plans

Post by IainMcNeil »

Just to keep you guys in the loop. Johan estimates 2 more weeks to finish the upgrades and fixes he wants to make and then we need a testing pass. Please try and be patient - he's working as fast as he can!

From our reports this far CNAW is very stable and bug free so the good news is that already this first patch will be almost entirely about improving the game balance and AI. Should make a big difference for the appearance for you players :)

That's really good news. I can't wait for the patch. Wholly agree that this is a very stable production. Just one thing - I quite like the 1814 scenario - will you be able to catch the odd thing such as the transparent Portugese units in this scenario?

Transparent units? You mean Portugal simply does not attack in the 1814 or something to do with arts?

Hi

If you play the 1814 as Coalition with the fullest advantage to the French using counters at the second largest level of zoom you will see one Portugese unit around the Vitoria area as just a flag and strength marker. It can be clicked on and moved and used - the actual unit is simply transparent. Similarly, the Portugese militia units in the port areas suffer if you load them into transports. No transport unit is shown, just the flag.

Sorry I can't be more specific, I'm currently a long way from my games machine.

I'm waiting to see how this games "Patches" up. I've been holding off buying because of the holes in this title. I hope that it works out. I'm tired of WWII games.
