Option to retreat

Post by Latro »

Will there be a way to retreat from a battle?

Say I'm playing a more mobile force than my opponent, like Skythians or Thracians versus Greek, there will only be so many rounds that I can pepper them. It would be better then to retreat, instead of having to do actual battle and loose men unnecessesarily.

Well, you can run around the map until time limit. But if your opponent were human he would be very very annoyed by your play style.

I was thinking more of a campaign against the AI. That you have more time to simulate attrition tactics.
What happens when the timer runs out, do the 'after battle' calculations still deduct a hypothetical number of prisoners and casualties?
