Patch 4.1.7

I tried. I was able to easily patch the game to 4.1.4 manually, but then ... All the time now is a "connecting" and "please wait" window and nothing happens.
Does it take so long or something still does not work?

No, it shouldnt. Okay, so you are at 4.1.4. Reboot, try again. Otherwise, it might be at Slitherine's end and adherbal or somebody else might have to take a look. Could be a few hours.

To make sure, you'd have to typ
#patch patch4.1.7

to update to the new version. Not 4.1.5.

When we use "#patch patch v4.1.7" nothing happens. There is not even a connection window.
Best of all, I will be waiting for the patch on Steam.

Has this been solved now? I had the same issue briefly (update spinning forever), but then I restarted the game, took a screenshot and the update suddenly went fine. (4.1.7)

Unfortunately not. As I turn on the game, the autoupdate pops up, I click yes, connects, and nothing happens. When I try to update manually - same. When I want to update to 4.1.7.

When I want to update to earlier versions, it still connect, I'm waiting, and waiting, and nothing happen. Then I must to close the game by the task manager.

Slitherine is going to build a new 4.1.7 patch installer and apply it to Steam soon.

In the meantime you can download and apply it manually:
- Download the attached zip file
- Go to your Order of Battle installation folder
- Open the Order of Battle - WW2_Data folder
- Extract the contents of the zip file here (overwriting existing folders/files)

@adherbal: Running 4.1.7 . Burma Road - I can now only buy seaplane Bombers in Seacamo, e.g. Fairey Barracuda Torpedo or Bomber. Also, I get offered Seafire Spitfires in blue as upgrade. I guess that is a bug?
New Unit available or upgrade available panel also never showed up.

I bought Burma Road but it won't let me install it cause it says I don't have patch 4.1.1
I tried the fix in the top post here and the game now says 4.1.7 but when I tried to install the game, I get the same annoying error that my game is not 4.1.1

Also my auto update tried to install patch 5.2 over the last 2 days and it keeps failing.

Is there a way to install 4.1.1? I have no clue where it is.
I looked at the 'members area' and it only shows a list of games and the registration keys I have. When I click on the games I only get the ads for them, not the patches.

Fails when? Have you tried an FTP client?

what is ftp client?
I'm just using the firefox download library list and click on retry when it fails but this download won't even retry after it failed which is odd. Usually retry always starts the download again from where it left off.

Downloading software for large files, preventing crashes and so on. Google.
Maybe the error is on slitherine's side? Heading out now, maybe some of the other mods will take over. Will pop in later, promise.
