Atlanta area Field of Glory players will host another seasonal
tournament on Saturday, November 1st.
The tourney will be held at the Tower Game Center, http://www.thetowergames.com/ .

I, John Martin, will be the referee and list checker.
Lists from any released book will be accepted.
Please submit lists to njimk@aol.com by Saturday, October the 25th.
The lists must include a specific army date.
Late lists will be posted for other participants to see.

All four rounds will be played in 1 day.
1st round starts at 8:00 am
2nd round starts at 11:30 am
3rd round starts at 3:00 pm
4th round starts at 8:00 pm

We will probably descend on the adjacent Hooters restaurant for dinner.

The entrance fee will be $20 dollars and prizes will be awarded.

Match-ups will be in period for the first 2 rounds where possible and the Payne method will determine first round opponents.
Local players will not be matched in the first round.

Out-of-towners will be welcomed, chauffeured, wined and dinned.

There are two suitable hotels 1 exit away.
The first is newer, nicer and has a more professional staff.

Hampton Inn
1135 Lakes Parkway
Lawrenceville, Ga 30043
770-338-9600
$89 per night for two double beds

Comfort Suites
2225 Riverside Parkway
Lawrenceville, Ga 30043
678-377-0003
$89.99 per night for two double beds

Both of the hotels would also serve for the January team tournament.

Here is a tournament reminder.

The list submittal deadline has been extended through Sunday the 26th.
Please send lists to njimk@ aol . com

In order to counter the practice of not submitting a list beforehand players who do not submit a list before arrival will be matched against their gaming group's members.

I would like to thank all participants, the Tower Game Center and each of the sponsors.
Derek Downs of NASAMW contributed a huge and well painted army as a prize.
19th Century Miniatures, oldglory15s.com, were very generous with prize support.

The level of play and companionship were impressive once again.
The GCC tournaments just keep getting better, are open to anyone, and are worth attending if you can.
