Armored train in Blitzkrieg

I am having trouble capturing the Armored Train in the Smolensk scenario in Blitzkrieg. It says I have to capture this train by cutting it off from supply and taking away its combat abilities. Well, I've had it cut off for several turns with no supply and knocked it all the way down to strength 2, but it still keeps firing on surrounding units. Now when I fire on it, despite multiple save reloads, it either gets destroyed totally or there is no effect. What do I do?

As far as I remember (been a while since playing Blitzkrieg) you have to actually destroy the train.
It will then get repaired over a few missions and will join your core in Yugoslavia, I think.
So just kill it. Simple.

Maybe that worked on 2015 but it doesn't now - not least of all because you couldn't win the Minsk scenario and then "join your core in Yugoslavia"
Next - if you destroy the train and then win the Minsk scenario, the captured train objective is marked as "failed"

Chill. Everybody playing this game got his Armoured Train in Warsaw. Most players probably don't even know you'll get a second chance at Smolensk (a non-core train, though). Andy just mixed up the scens.

But you're right. There's a trigger error in the Smolensk scen (not Minsk). I'll post it in tech support.

OK thanks for your reply - yes, Smolensk not Minsk - and when you are new to OoB - you don't know about getting train in Warsaw - but I do now

All nations have the same Armoured Train but it is impossible to change the skin
