Missing Units

First, my apologies, as I searched the forum extensively and could not locate a thread on this. I saved turn 29 of my US Guadalcanal scenario (US campaign) and when I re-loaded, well over half of my units were gone - including most of my core campaign carry-over units and expensive units I purchased mid scenario. Same problem with auto save file. Very frustrating - is there a fix? This is the direct purchase from Matrix version - not Steam. Latest patch 3.4.2. A redirect to a help thread would be most appreciated - hard to believe I would be the first person this happened to. Many thanks in advance.

First, I think there should be a campaign save file right before the beginning of the mission. Do you have others, maybe quicksaves?
If the save file is somehow corrupted, zip it and upload it as an attachment. Maybe someone around here from the Artistocrats can help.

It's probably, like Andy2012 told, that the file is corrupted.
As far as I remember, nobody have reported this before. I'm sorry but I doubt that the developer can do anything with corrupted files.
Try loading a previous save if you have one.

You could also try Restart Scenario from the Preferences tab (after first loading a save).

Thank you all for the quick response. The campaign save file looks fine - I was looking for a way to avoid playing all 29 turns over again. As requested, I sent both my save file, and the auto-save file in a zip to your Tech Support e-mail. Odd that both the auto-save and my save file would be corrupted. Thanks again!
