Display problem

I am playing the mac version on the latest update and started having a problem with the display of the game.
When I launch the game from steam I can hear the intro but all I see is a black screen. Once I click to skip the intro to the main menu the screen turns gray. If i click where the main menu options would I get popups for that option but they are blank. Its possible for me to exit the game if I click where the exit button would be on the main menu and than on the popup.
i started having this problem when I clicked the button to purchase a DLC in the campaign menu

For a start, can you rename the folder "Users\<username>\Order of Battle - WW2\Settings" to "Users\<username>\Order of Battle - WW2\SettingsBackup" and then launch the game to see if that fixes the issue?

I tried doing that but it does not fix the issue.
I uninstall then install the game again but the problem still persist

I tried doing that and it shows the normal menu main for a sec but than it turns back again to the gray screen
