Order of Battle Units

Can new units for Order of Battle be created? For example, there does not appear to be a 155MM howitzer for US forces. Can another nation's be substituted for a US unit? If so, How would I do that? Thank you.

There is a US 155mm M1 Long Tom, but maybe not what you are looking for?

You cannot substitue another nation's unit for a US unit in-game.
You can load a scenario in the editor and do it there.

Creating new units means modding certain game files. Possible, but not trivial.

I think he mentioned 155 mm Howitzer M1.
