Hi all! A result from our campaign;
Allendeuce's Mid-Hung-Cru's defeated paulmcneil's Lithuanians 33/41 (80%) MHC to 36/36 (100%) Lithuanians.
The battlefield's center was dominated by a series of rivers meandering across the field, around and amongst a lot of hills, both steep and gentle, so no large formations seemed possible. Therefore countless small skirmishes waxed and waned across the board, and it only turned to any decisive decision in the last turn or two.
Very good game very well played, Paul!

Burgot and I just finished another very enjoyable game!

He and I played numerous games in the past, his Portuguese versus my Welsh, what fun matches! We had a pretty gnarly field to play on, a long ridge in the center, a river and then a ridge in my side of the field. He went for my right flank, I returned the favor by going for his right flank. Losses piled up, but in one turn it seemed like he was clubbing me with paper swords, as the dice gods really went away for him. The game then started slowly sliding downhill.....

Very close, in numbers too, my 57 versus his 58! Two big fun armies on a wacky field just whacking away with everything they could grab!!!

67/100% for the Santas........

For the casualties......38/57 to 58/58.

Thanks Burgot!!!!!!!

Paul

Think that was about one of the best games Ive ever played, thanks to Claytonengel for being a tough opponent. Classic see saw battle with the Turks sat in cover hills or behind Fortifications, but the Byz superior numbers eventually managed to sneak a tight victory, with a combination of shooting and mobile cavalry.

Morea Byz 44/58 76% defeated Ottomans 44/44 100%.

Jakdaw's Catalans defeat paulmcneil's Lithuanians: 15/54 - 36/36, 28% - 100%. Tough times for the Lithuanians; I blame the heat.

Another result for you,

emilianojimenez and I just wrapped ours up, it was a big wooded hilly messy field! He stayed spread out mostly, I got involved in a big traffic jam on my right flank with units stepping on each other's toes to get into the huge melee over there. Finally ground down his left flank, while he was wiping up my left flank. Just in time!!!

Santas 18/57 to the Catalans 54/51, 32/100%

Gracias emiliano!!!!!!!!!!!!

claytonengel - Later Ottomans (24/44) 55 %

defeats

IMC - ordnance french (47/46) 100 %

A nail biter of a battle all the way through! The Ottomans got off to an early lead with a great cavalry charge that caught the French medium longbow men out in the open. The longbow men fought well though and kept the Ottoman cavalry out in the open long enough, for the French Knights and Swiss pikemen to shatter the Ottoman cavalry with bitter vengeance. From there the French dominated the battle, picking off Ottoman straggler after Ottoman straggler. The Ottoman's made a final hill top stand to tip the balance in their favor. Wow! Well played Ian!

DryYagni (Anglo-Irish) defeats claytonengel (Ottoman Later) 67% - 100%

An amazing game that in the beggining looked like it would go the other way. Clay deployed really well, anticipating every move i made. In the end, the Anglo-Irish proved they are too tough a nut to crack, winning the endurance race.

Thanks for the game!
