Are you planning to add icon Soviet submarines of M - class?
Indeed I will. I tried some time ago but I never got good "material" to work with. I will dig a little more to add this important unit to the Red Fleet.

My work on new scenarios is halted by the moment.

Here, an icon for the FW-190F, I just added some differences from the G variant from Bebro. Also I have finished the last version of the DB-3B and DB-3T (using as basis Bebro´s work of course). Also as Intenso82 asked me, the new variant Il-4T.
In addition I have added the G-5 Type Torpedo boat and a reworked MO-40 for the Red Fleet. Any thoughts?

Best regards,
Akkula.
Hello Akula,
Your mods are wonderful and very enjoyable to play.
Even if the activity of the forum is slowing down, I think that many players remain loyal to you.

I did not play the scenario in 99 tours version 1.9 because you had announced at the same time the future version 2.
Will you release your version 2.0?

And will you make available for download your new graphics?

I do not expect anything from Panzer Corps 2. The 3D does not inspire me so much for the difficulty of modder than for the fluidity of my old PC.
Panzer Corps 1 still has many good days ahead of him!

Best regards,
Yves
Thanks a lot for your kind words Yves :D
If you are a little bit patient I suggest you to wait until the next release... in order to enjoy the new units and additions.
Most probably I will change the plans and release 1.95 soon. This is the "Great Patriotic War" scenario with the new features.
2.0 would include completely new content.
hugh2711 wrote:akkula: the "lack of activity" you said in the forums is a direct consequence of announcing the sequel without an approximate release date. This was bound to happen once announced that way.
My opinion is that the fact the approx date of the new one has not been announced indicates to me that this was not thought through properly. After a few months of doing nothing more people will go back to the origional, there will be more activity.
Also makes me more inclined to believe that it will follow the traditional pattern of 3d sequels (as already detailed in the PzC2 threads) of sucking up the attention, time and cash of alot of people on the initial eye candy, then being dropped quickly and people will drift back to the first one because it is so good (and usually better than the sequel). I woud bet that in a years time i will be playing PzC1 :-) and so will ALOT of others.
I hope you are right and game keeps kicking for the years to come. :D
I have many more ideas to develop in my Eastern Front mod, I would love to see some level of activity in the future to keep the motivation up! :P
guille1434 wrote:I'm afraid I think the same way as Hugh2711, but I am not so sure if everyone will come back here... But I hope some of the old members, and may be some new ones will stay here for a long time... :-) I pretend to keep PzC1 installed in my PC for a long time, and to play it, as my free times allows me to...

By the way, very good work with those new aircraft and ships, Akkula!! :D
Thanks for your words friend. To be approved for the master icon maker of the forum is something you dont see everyday!. :)

Hello guys, I am still adding a lot of new units for the next update:
Image

On the left side, the Independent State of Croatia will join the Axis forces on its invasion of the USSR.
Right side, the final version of the Tupolev TB-3. On the top you can see the Zveno Project, it is going to be a switch mode unit of course, on its right you can see the I-16 ready to bomb ground targets.
Bottom, my own version of the SU-76M based on the vanilla icon. Also I will make the 203mm Br-4 purchasable, the SC version doesnt seem to capture the mighty power of this beast so I decided to keep with the fantastic Guille version, I just made some improvements.

Also I am working on a new fully scripted big scenario (100x120). This one is going to be playable for both sides :P

Best regards,
Akkula.

Nope, its the Br-4, the Br-5 is a different icon.

Excellent new units!! :-) Just an idea for the very good Zveno composite/parasite aircraft... Why dont make'the switched icon witho two smaller I-16 planes? That way, it will be readily identified as a Zveno component, telling it aside from the regular I-16... Just an idea. By the way, that I-16 is simply perfect looking! 8)

Hi Guille, thanks a lot for your words :)
Yes, I thought about the tiny I-16, then I chose to use the Bebro´s version and modify it (also I added the two littly bombs, hardly seen :() in order to make it different from the regular one, maybe I have to try harder. I will try your suggestion anyway :P

Thanks again,
Best regards,
Akkula.

Yes, of course I saw the underwing bombs, that was that made me know that it was not Bebro's icon... :-) I am good at identifying units 8)
I am also not very fond of using multiple icons... Noe that I think it over again, may be you can just make the bomb's tail longer, to make them more visible (just one or two pixels) they will not look right in scale, but they will be more readily discernible from the standard aircraft... Also, you can add some tiny dark spots on the upside of the fuselage and/or wings, showing the places where the mothership bomber plane supporting struts make contact with the fighter's airframe when it is attached to the TB-3

I like all those ideas Guille, good thinking :P
I will try them and post them as soon as I finish another new unit for the Germans.

Thanks a lot!.

Hello everyone,
I keep making some new units for the next update. This time a unit not well know, the 10.5cm LeFH 16 auf Geschutzwagen Mk.VI(e). A SPG based on the Vickers Mk.VI chassis (captured from the British), 6 or 12 of them were deployed on the Volkhov front.
Also I made my own version of the terrifying 12.8cm Pak44.

Nice icons. I hadn't realised the Vickers Light tanks were robust enough to use as gun platforms.
It makes me wonder what would have been possible if the inventors of the Birch gun had used a bit more imagination and vision.

Thanks captainjack,
actually you have a point there. It is amazing how many hybrids (mostly SPG) the German made with British or French captured vehicles. They produced even better variants (IMHO) than the original designers :P.
More German trophies will come soon and the rework of the KV-13.

Very good new units... I specially like the TB-3 and the 12,8 cm Pak... About the 10,5 cm Howitzer on Mk.VI hull, if you allow me, the gun looks a little bit long. All images I could find, show the the barrel ended just short of the hull forward end... 8)

I also like very much the brownish-color paint scheme of this SPG... Could you share the color files for it? :-)

Hi Guille, mhhh, I will modify the barrel length then. Thanks for the advice :P
More units will come soon.

Regarding the color for the "non-vanilla" camo, I used "German Grey Rusty" from Flak. If you dont have it, I will post it.

Akkula.

Yes, I use Tanks-Encyclopedia a lot, both for icons and for unit stats.
I didnt notice the detail of the barrel length, I will try to fix it now. :)

Hi I was wondering if there can be a hotfix or a guide on how to put back the multiplayer button on the menu?

Even if it is broken there are people who would like to try this scenario in multiplayer instead of just fighting the AI.

Hi AfrikaKorpsSoldat,
I could try to enable the option but since the multiplayer activity is not that high I thought that it wouldnt worth it. I will think about it.
Thanks for your suggestion :D

Hello everyone,
Another unusual vehicle for the Werhmacht, the Aufklärungspanzer 38(t) recon vehicle:

This little toy was useful for close quarter combat, and reconnaissance of course.
