Is there a way to get an AI allied in the unit core system ?
For example the player is "USA" and his AI allied is "US army" (from bootcamp). I want the "US army" status (experience, force) to be impacted from a campaign mission to another. Is that possible ?

Re: AI core
You can take a look at Erik's Sea Lion campaign where Germany and Kriegsmarine are carried on as core.
Re: AI core
Ok I'll do that.
Thanks
Thanks
Re: AI core
Well, as far as I can see Germany and Kriegsmarine are factions played by human. These are not AI.
What I'd like to know is if the core system can be applied to an AI faction. An AI units can be set as "core" in the editor but then how could we reloaded it into a next mission ?
BTW congratulation to Erik what a huge campaign. How long will it take me to achieve it...?

Re: AI core
This sounds like it is something that requires own pioneering, as no man has ever gone there before.
The core/export-function is currently somewhat broken as in v3.4.0 as you can't even see your own units in the campaign screen. However, if you take an existing campaign and modify it here and there somehow, and test it by #igotnukes with "shift+c" console to cheat quickly to the next campaign scenario, then you'll see if it works or not. Good luck!

Re: AI core
Well if the "core" is controlled by AI that means you do not need deployment by player and AI needs orders for every scenario.
Effect could be achieved by placing units under AI control in every scenario and doing some variable triggers to check which unit got killed. Those that got killed are then removed from next scenario.

Re: AI core
Interesting.
In my new naval campaign I have made the important AI ships core units.
I was going to ask in if it was possible to carry AI core unit losses to the next scenario. All units have their historical names.
I'll experiment a bit, but will probably head back to this forum with questions

Re: AI core
Well the idea here was mainly to use the experience increasing sytem applied to AI unit.
Of course this could be set by some campaign variables but the result would be more subjective, not to mention a tricky and (and tedious according to the scenario) micro management in scenario building process.
