Hello all,
This cheat needs to be activated at the very start of the scenario and does not carry over to the next, correct?
Also, if I activate it after I have lost a unit I will not get that unit back, correct?
I just lost a valued unit and I am lamenting.
Thanks

Re: Reform Units
On a PC, in version 1.2 and above, Reform units can be activated in the Advanced Difficulty settings and the cheat code isn't usually required. This takes effect at the beginning of the scenario AFTER activation and will then persist for the whole campaign, so changing it during a scenario won't help (though I think the cheat code will work during the scenario).
Under version 1.2 and above, you can change difficulty at the end of each scenario,
And you're right. Any units lost before activating Reform Units stay lost. At one time, planes out of fuel also stayed lost, and I think that may still be current.

Re: Reform Units
If you still have the scenario saved, you can restart it & your unit will reappear.
Even if you do reform a favorite unit, you'll probably find that it is a lot less powerful with zero experience. The stars make a big difference.

Re: Reform Units
Thanks for the info. As to activating reform units in the advanced settings screen, can you do that half way through a campaign. I am under the impression that access to advance settings is only an option at the very beginning of a game.

Re: Reform Units
On a PC when you get the victory/triumph/loss screen there should be four buttons on the bottom. If you press Difficulty, you get the start up screen and can access the advanced setting screen to switch on Reform Units. That will take effect from the next scenario as soon as it starts.
