Hello!! In the campaign of Hispania there's a city called Dertosa, south of Tarraco. Can I change please somehow the name of the city? Want to put Ibera for hispanic factions or Imposita for Roman factions. Also will be cool If I can start a Hispanic campaign with no romans in the peninsula, and with his province occupied by a iberian tribe.
Is possible??
Thank's

OK, there's probably not going to be any official support for this forthcoming, but I can try to help you.RealDarko wrote:Hello!! I do believe that at least some of what you are trying to do is entirely possible. I have never modded Legion, but I have modded Spartan and Gates of Troy while successfully and enjoyably, and all the early Slitherine games share many common features, often right down to basic file names and structures.
Can I assume that you are comfortable with manipulating files? If so, you might want to start by reading this thread, in which I explain modding of Spartan/GoT.
The first post deals with creating the actual Mod directory, and that should be your first step, to create a \Mod directory, and a specific subdirectory under that for your first Mod, so if you have the Slitherine version of the game that might be -
C:\Program Files\Slitherine\Legion\Mod\YourModName
Alternatively, if you have the Matrix games version it might be -
C:\Matrix Games\Legion\Mod\YourModName
Then go ahead and do the rest of the stuff talked about in that first post, basically just copying files. When you've finished the steps outlined in that first post, fire up the game and see if it runs and recognises the mod directory. If it does, you're home free, just read the rest of the thread, and PM me when you get stuck or confused or need help. Just for the gods' sake be double sure you're editing the files in your mod directory, and not the originals!
You should also read the Mod Kit thread, which is linked at the top of my thread.
If it doesn't recognise the mod directory and give you an option of playing with a mod, and you've double-checked all the steps in that thread, then that means Legion isn't set up to accept mods. We can still do some of the things you are wanting to do, it will just be a bit trickier.
Good luck, and I'll look forward to hearing from you!
