Storm of Arrows and Eternal Empires allowed together?

Post by daleivan »

Just curious since I don't yet have a copy of Eternal Empires. Does the book mention themed tournaments that include Storm of Arrows? A few, some or all? The two books are obviously chronologically concurrent :D

Cheers,

I would assume they can be used together but it doesnt really matter if it say yes or not- it would be up to the tournament organizers. Also you cold have a theme tourney based purely on a Western Europe/Eastern Europe divide. I doubt if we have to get a "sanction" from Slitherine/Osprey on how to run a tournament!

The point system seems to work across eras, so all the books should work together.
Later Carthaginians (853 pts)
Medieval Swedish (591 pts)
Later Achm'd Persian (424 pts)

I say yes. Many of the armies in Storm of Arrows fought many of the armies in Eternal Empire. The Hussites fought the Germans (Duh!) The Germans fought everybody on their eastern frontier (Poles, Hungarians, Hussites, even Teutonics if you want to count vassal uprisings). The Danes and Swedes fought the Teutonics, Lithuanians, and Russians. The Venetians fought nearly everyone in Eternal Empire.

And, if nothing else, the Venetians from SoA can use an Albanian ally whose list is in EE.

I definitely agree-was just curious what the book said (if at all).

Excellent list of opponents above, btw :D
