Non-Steam Patches

The Steam page for Afg11 notes a patch 1.04 being out. Steam had also a 1.03 earlier.

Using the Slitherine version I am still at 1.02 and checking for updates just ends with a msg saying I got the latest version. Is there a way for me to get to the most recent version without going Steam? I guess I could get the keys and dl again, but now that I already have installed the Slitherine version....

The 1.04 released on Steam is a beta patch.

There isn't an installer file, but you can download 1.04 beta from the link below, unzip it and copy the contents to your game installation folder:
ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/Afghanistan11/Afghanistan11-UpdateBeta-v1.0.4Beta.zip
