forge master

Wonderint through yahoo auction, people realized there is a chance forgers do use nets to make their days.

So, player is artisan, in fact in poverty, or in huge debt.
And he starts to make false pottery, coins, and pictures and sell it on auction.
and as he want to publitize his goods, products, he crawls through nets and do some media campaign on the cheap.
Posting in web forum for roman coins, digging around rural England and make some discovery, and plant his products into
archeological excavation site, and wait it reappeared again.

Players can make Arther's coin, or some Viking swords, or helms, and even established his name crowned museum.
Their are many opponents. Scholars, museum curators, police, those who purchased his products, tax revenue agency's agents.

And sometimes somekind of international spy agents approuch you to make counterfeit bill.

It's kinda like a game allready out.

have you ever heard of a game called drug runners?

its a game where you can be:

a farmer
a banker
a ex-millitary guy
a lawyer
etc.

basically you trade marijuna.

I have one good tip for you tora_tora_tora, this don't make a trade restriction to how much you can steal from another player.

Are there going to be any kind of teams in this game?

Thank you, kyle, but currently I've had no plan to make this game, just for fun to talk.

Searching roman history in your neiborhood, surrounding your hometown, and go on hike and digging or metal-detecting roman era's things,
seems to be fun. And having heard there are mailman in southern France, who collect tiny things, pebbles, glass, soucers, and build his own
small decorated castle.
Maybe, something like little web, inter-related, centered around web-auction site is where these things turned into games, I just imagine.

Excuse me, if I disappointed you :(

As you see, this is still in pretty much in idea, not in concrete somekind of plan.
So talking the viability of imitating web in the game is what I want.

I guess, this game is divided into several parts.
searching through webs, and go the field and digging, and checking web-auction site(in game), and chatting with others.
So, there is also a chancen to digging out the genuie relics, archeological things, and selling or donating to Britsh museum in game is
also fun.

to give it a semi accurate historical representation about the items you donate or dig up in the game or the game would get little praise.

Player can draw the graphics of the item his character found,
and with tweaked graphics, item could be sold on auction-site,
or, donate it to museum and let the curaters show it to the public.

So, there is chance of roman era "new-found" arts, there is also a chance players do not properly use this feature.
And players can make thier own site on the net in this game, web-hosting service for roman era artists, art-lovers.

Not only roman, but you can also discover Atlantis, Amazon(the legendery one). Or the lost roman legions, for exsample, the Nineth's eagle.
(I read Rosemary Sutcliff's novel, translated into Japanese).
