I'm reading in the manual mentions of Stryker vehicles as either APC's or AGS variants, but i'm not seeing them in the game. Were they removed somewhere along the line?

They are there. They are self propelled artillery.

Just guessing, but maybe they are not available in the first campaign missions, maybe only later? Or did you try skirmish (I didn't)...

Can't see them in skirmish either. Odd.

Dev confirmed on the Steam forums that they are not in the game due to balance issues. They are in the files, but cannot be requisitioned and don't appear in any missions. He said they are considering introducing them later.

I guess I played them in an earlier version then because I have used them.

I wonder what the balance issue is though. You can buy Apaches that does the same job.

Maybe that was the issue, they have pretty much no dedicated use for them as an apache does it better?

Personally I hope they put them in, because it widens the selection of units available and so adds variety.

They could make some diffferences in what Apaches and Strykers are good for. Like Hellfire-armed Apaches would a bit better vs. those pickup trucks while Strykers and maybe standard non-mobile arty would be more effective aginst Mil/Tal infantry.

Took the decision to take them out as they are not really iconic of the war and also could not find a specific use for them that was not already covered and not altering the balance, still under consideration and I am sure they will pop up in the future
