Routers turning 90º and moving during JAP

Post by zaknafir »

Hello,

¿Does the General Movement rules applies to a BG that is broken and not in contact with enemy during the Join Action Phase?

i. ex: a BG of knights undrilled is routing and fleeing to his rear table exe during the JAP. Can It turn 90º and make a simple move or it must weel because that tipe of BG cannot make that type of movement aplying the General Movement rules?

thanks (and sorry for my poor English  )

Rout moves do not follow the restrictions of normal moves. If you look at P 108 it says that a routing BG moves towards its own table edge "making wheels and/or turns as appropriate".

There is no difference between drilled and undrilled when it comes to routing. If it needs more than a 45 degree wheel then the routers will turn and then wheel to the correct direction.
