When declaring a charge we place a dice behind each BG that is charging to indicate intent. At what time do you declare which direction the charge is in? When you first declare that a BG is charging, or when you begin to resolve the charges in order?
I have found this simple mechanic can bring about different results. What do you guys do?
Declaring charges - what would you do?

Personally I declare who is a charging and at what when placing the dice just to make my intentions reasonable clear; and then sort out the detailed directions and responses as we do each of them. Very occasionally I might say A charges X and Y as well if I can wheel enough, but not sure if I can - and leave it to sort out later.
So effectively I am just saying who is charging at the beginning, but giving a little bit more info for the sake of speeding things along later - and there is probably a bit of reminding myself what I am actually doing to !

This unit is going to charge them (we point out this and them). We are informal, so we usually make sure a charge will make contact. We then declare the rest (if any) of the charges/impacts.
The dice as a marker IS a good idea. Heck, the first couple of times....us old farts will forget what the die is a marker for.

I found some tokens made by Gale Force 9 or GF9 that are arrows with charge written on one side and retreat on the other.
when I declare my charges (so far anyway) I lay down my charge arrow and it points in the direction i am charging. I find this to make things easier when charging multiple units in the same turn and triying to remember what angle it was all to go.
