Custom scenario objectives not triggered

Hello everyone,

First I would like to say I love this game and I am currently trying to play some custom scenarios. Must have been hard work to make those, so thumbs up for those who make them! It's much appreciated.

I'm using a windows (7) PC and installed OOB via Steam. I also purchased the US Marines DLC.

I installed the Kokoda Trail campaign and the 'Showdown in the Pacific' (Jap AI) scenario.

It all seems to run smoothly, except I can not complete any objectives: the secondary objectives stay crossed out after I complete them and same goes for the primary objective. Game doesn't end and after the last turn it end with a 'draw'. I haven't been able to figure out what I'm doing wrong, since I haven't found anyone online yet with similar problems.

There is some bug in some of the Kokoda scenarios that I can't seem to fix after trying several options.
