Charging shock cavalry when charged !!!

Hi All

Last night a MI with light spear charged my catapracts.
Looking on the POA - i saw that light spear gets a +
unless - charged by shock cavalry .
As i assumed that an impact is always with shock cavalry
charging i didnt give me opponent the +
However is this only negated when the aforesaid shock
cavalry initiates the IMPACT - That is moves into contact.
Or was i right and even if the light spear moves into impact
it still doesnt get the + POA because shock cavalry is always
charging if contacted

Foot light spear counts a + PoA unless charging shock mounted.

That is if the LS foot are charging said mounted they do not get the PoA - it is nothing to do with whether the mounted are charging.
