Post by Dalauppror »

Hi

I planing to make a Catalan Company army and is in the process to order
some minis...and I have some questions about the army list that I hope some of you
can answer...yes I know that the list will be out in about a month..but I cant wait to get started. :D

The Almughavar, are they superior? how many bases are minimum?

The Jinettes, how many bases is maximum?

The Feudal Men at Arms, how many bases is maximum? are they superior?

The X-bow, how many bases is maximum? are they LF/MF?

The Greek archers how many bases is maximum? are they LF/MF?

Thanks for your help

I haven't seen the list, but you can make a decent stab at it from the Aragon list in Storm
of Arrows. So I would guess:

The almughavars are superior protected MF, either impact or offensive spearmen.

Jinetes, as above list, possibly upto 10 or 12. Plus the option for more LH bow/sword as Turks/Turkopoles.

Not many knights. Probably one optional BG of 4, classification as per Aragon list.

Archers optionally LF or MF.

Don't take my word for it though!

The Almughavar, are they superior? how many bases are minimum?

Yes, 12.
The Jinettes, how many bases is maximum?
There is no Jinetes in this army list.

The Feudal Men at Arms, how many bases is maximum? are they superior?

If you are talking about the Knights, their name is "Cavalls Armats". They can be Kn or Cv, 4 bases mínimun of Superior Kn or Cv.
The X-bow, how many bases is maximum? are they LF/MF?

12, Both.
The Greek archers how many bases is maximum? are they LF/MF?
12, Both

That was true in the past, but he got his own webshop now. If you order from there attaining his miniatures is now quick, easy and even P&P is rather reasonable.

That is good to hear, the Toullier figures are very nice. I have always stayed away due to the (perceived) difficulty in obtaining them.
