Saxon Leib-Grenadier-Garde Regiment

Getting better with the green stuff. The figures are AB Saxon grenadiers which don't have epaulettes except for the officer and standard bearer; so I had to add epaulettes for the rests. I did better than the epaulettes for the Wurttemberg guard cavalry but there's much room for improvement.

Only realized after I got the figures and started painting that the officers didn't have shakoes but bicornes. Oh well.

The other option was to go with the parade uniform (bearskins) but I opted for the campaign uniform.

Very nice! AB are such a pleasure to paint. And I'm lucky to have the Aussie manufacturer about 8kms from my house
