If recruitment is not yet closed, I am eager to join what will be my second tournament. If I continue to play opponents much better than myself, perhaps I'll
eventually learn what I'm doing wrong! lol

You can always become another bad poet like myself Bloodphoenix...
There was a old man named bloodphoenix
Who always wore colourful wolly v necks (You might like to try and change your user name to a more easliy poetical rhyming one)
But who shouldn't always think of himself as a pantherboy's toy
So hold you head up very high and don't be so coy
Otherwise the black panthers bloody victim you will be next!
I'm stuck for the next verse

Warlord conscripted me for the TWY tournament. This time I will volunteer.
Re: Le Roi Soleil Round Robin Event Recruitment - Open
Lascar,
the pay and conditions are much better as a volunteer, and you get second choice of the captured baggage animals after the officers have had theirs.

Re: Le Roi Soleil Round Robin Event Recruitment - Open
Rex, will you be using the scoring system outlined in the results thread? Dividing simply by 10 creates problems. I'd recommend using the scoring system for TYW. It rewards striking victories. As an example a 0% to 40% victory scores 10pts for the winner and 0pts for the loser rather than 4pts versus 0pts and a person who wins marginally 59% to 60% gets 6.1pts versus 5.9 rather than 6pts to 5.9pts. As you can see under a flat division of 10 the game shifts from winning as best you can to dragging the battle out as long as possible since in these two scenarios the respective winners would of received 4pts for a decisive win as opposed to 6pts for barely holding on. Food for thought.
Cheers,
Steve
