Saving after campaign mission

After beating a campaign mission, I try to save. So I hit escape since I do not see a save button, then I am out of the campaign and load using the autosave. I find it kind of strange that I cannot save after a campaign mission. Am I missing how to save or is it really not there and players must rely on autosave?

Hi Qwixt,

You can save on the region map mission select screen by pressing esc, this will save all of your progress on this campaign. If you go back to the campaign select screen by mistake there is no save option but there will be an autosave for you to fall back on.
