I have a dream.
Hello all dear friends Panzer fans. I am of those who are part of the first hour Panzer General of SSI company as well as the first hour of Civilization 1. With all my experience of gamer I am dreaming of a perfect mix between the 2 games. In my opinion, the mode of management of civilization (diplomacy, country, city, production and agriculture etc.) with the mode of management of conflicts on the ground between countries with (Panzer Corps) all this through 2000 years with random mode of Earth. OMG Wow blockbuster of all time as turn-based games. I am ready to embark on the adventure.
Re: I have a dream.
Isn't that kind of what Hearts of Iron IV is?
Personally, I passed on HoI. Too much strategic management, not enough tactical battling.

Re: I have a dream.
I would agree with you!
After some intense rounds with HOI IV I come back to play the Panzer Korps. Maybe it's also a problem of a so called 'real time' game with multifunctional - multileveled decisions. To much for me.
But, who knows... eventuell the developers create some nice patches to bring that game to another level.

Re: I have a dream.
guys ! You know serie civilization. You play the Stone Age in the atomic era not just during the WW2. Have you thought the number of combat and sort of possible military unit in a games like this one. With the gameplay of Panzercorps. I can not believe nobody ever thought of it.
With a game like that. You can live through all the epochs the great military conflicts of our history and free in your political decisions with all the great countries.

Re: I have a dream.
i have something close to your dream which is combining the games Warthunder/Blitzkrieg//Panzer corps into one game
3 different scales of each battle you go through, Warthunder being the closest point of view where you drive a single unit in battle, Blitzkrieg for commanding your army in RTS camera and the ultimate strategic mode which is Panzer Corps.

Re: I have a dream.
civ + pzc could be a good combo.
the units and and the fightings in civ are so basics.

well maybe you are right with his thesisjeff00t wrote:civ + pzc could be a good combo.

I want to add, but only in 9 Day Weeks with 28 Hour Days

These are two of the best and most time cosuming Games of All time and combining their Strong Points might make them unplayable just because of the Time needed to play it seriously.
But we All are a bit like the Guys from Big Bang Theory after All, are we Not ?

Re: I have a dream.
I have never played civ, but considering the time involved I guess i will stick to pc, which, according to my wife, takes up pretty muchall of my spare time. I tried to explain by comparing it to reading a good book, which I think she accepted as a convincing explanation lol.hurly wrote:well maybe you are right with his thesisjeff00t wrote:civ + pzc could be a good combo.

This made me laugh, I tried finding a comparison in my wife's life that matches my obsession of PC, but have always come up short as my wife's interests are a lot more "productive", and "helpful" than my game playing, but I cannot get enough of this great game and it's constant challenges.

Re: I have a dream.
I remind my wife that buying one or two computer games a year is a lot cheaper than many of the hobbies I have pursued in the past or could be doing now. Works every time!goose_2 wrote:ptje63 wrote:I have never played civ, but considering the time involved I guess i will stick to pc, which, according to my wife, takes up pretty muchall of my spare time. Back on topic, I mostly play Civ V or PzC and enjoy the fact they are fundamentally different. For my money wargames and empire building games are not really possible to combine. I play Civ to relax and PzC when I want a challenge.
