Impressed and Request

Post by gbaby »

Just started playing OOB and was impressed how well it played. Especially love the supply concern. Looks great, and plays great. Didn't take me long to get every OOB expansion available. Looking forward to future releases.

You can't help but compare to Panzer Corps, which I like OOB a lot better. But miss the short cut key "C" for "Casualty Report" that Panzer Corps supported. Didn't see any reason why same could be available in OOB. At end of game I would visit map and check casualty report and I miss it in OOB. Yea, anal, but I think that is one of the reasons I love tactical/strategy games. Anyway, just a comment to consider for future inclusion.

Great job and looking forward to other periods of WW2 in future. Like your trend, stick to early ww2 first as you move from pacific.

Good idea, I also liked that overall statistic for a campaign.

But you can already see individual performance under the "i" screen of each unit any time you want.

I agree with the need for a Casualty Report in this game, scenario and campaign in scope.

Agree with this and also -- don't know if this is new with the latest update -- when one gets a victory screen (or defeat screen!) in the end it covers all the objectives accomplished and cannot be moved -- pretty important to see what you achieved and what you haven't. Also, still not addressed, roads do not negate terrain often enough -- is this by design? I know you can entrain or do truck movement on roads, but it seems major roads SHOULD negate terrain!

I would like to have hitpoints losses for each unit so I could know the actually battle damage for each side in addition to the # of units destroyed.
