How to place a paratroop unit in flight?

Erik (or any other knowledgeable modder), while using the editor to answer somebody's question about paratroop onboarding, I was wondering how one would place a loaded, airborne paratroop unit on the map? I tried the Control-click method that works with land transportation (select transport unit, then Control-click infantry unit on map), but that does not seem to work with the one air unit that I know should work in conjunction with paratroop units: C47 Skytrain.

You need to create a trigger/event.
The event uses 'Scenario Start' as trigger, you do not have to enter any Condition.
The event is a spawn para unit with air transport.
It might be possible to spawn ie an engineer unit with manually added air transport. Will they be able to drop? Don't know.

Ah, very good. So you don't look to place the in-flight paratrooper+plane on the map initially, but you use a trigger/event to spawn such a unit at the beginning of the scenario. Thanks. Also thanks for identifying the German version of airborne troop carrier.
