Hello comrades,

Help a newbie trying to tinker. I'm trying to understand the use of setting deployment hexes.
The context in the picture is a test scenario where you send your troop from your shoreline to travel across deep water to land at another nation. In the land above it is US controlled.
Do the tabs indicate a deployment hex being air/sea/land. What is the 'availability ##-##' used for... is it turns the deployment hex is available?
Also, setting a port via map function seems to place special deployment hexes in and of itself...neutral effect so anyone gains the ability if the hold the port?

If possible, please use screen shots to explain.

Thanks!

1) You need to check at least one the factions.
2) Airfields, ports and villages/towns/cities always generate air/naval and land deployment hexes around the location.
3) By default the deployment hexes are available only in the deployment phase. But you can set turn numbers to make them available during play.
4) Yes, the icons is for land/naval/air deployment. This will generate specific icons on the map. You can select combinations.
