Windowed mode

Good morning,

What is the "windowed mode" (options/advanced) exactly supposed to do ?
Although I did change from "full screen" to "windowed" in the preferences, and closed/reloaded the game, it stayed just all the same, in full screen and without any windows ornaments, title bar,n possibility to resize or drag, etc...

I am also having a problem getting windowed mode to work on Windows 7

Windowed mode does not make the game work in a standard Windows window. (I cannot recall what the purpose of it is, but no doubt Pip can enlighten us).

Windowed mode creates a fixed window in the top left of the screen - it is intended mainly for debug and modding work. If the resolution is set to the same as the main desktop then it will appear identical to fullscreen, but can be better to work with if you are ALT+TABing a lot, or if you card has older drivers which dislike fullscreen task switching.
