Blitzkrieg disappearing prize
I received 76mm m1939 captured Russian howitzer as a reward for completing one of secondary objectives during the Smolensk scn. Unfortunately I don't see this equipment on the list of units during the next scn. Or is it just a temporary strengthening?

Same here, had the same problem. (And had already reported it. You get the gun after overrunning Yelnya, I think.)kondi754 wrote:I received 76mm m1939 captured Russian howitzer as a reward for completing one of secondary objectives during the Smolensk scn. Other stuff:
I conquered the airfield north of Trondheim with Paratroopers in the first round. The Airfield has its own supply (10 or 20 I think, enough to support a single Paratrooper unit). The supply stash counter counted down, the flag was raised in three turns (as usual, supply became available), but the Paras were still unsupplied. Bug? Same happened down in the south. Out of supply only ceased after I brought a supply ship down there, which shouldnt have been necessary when there was local supply. Or did I miss anything?

Roslavl.
Re: Blitzkrieg disappearing prize
Airfields only offer air supply and cannot supply ground troups.
Re: Blitzkrieg disappearing prize
This is because the captured units are spawned as auxiliary, not as core units. Therefore they are not carried over to the next scenario. I assume this intentional because the unit spawn is actually randomized (at least artillery or recon).

Well, it did show "+15" when I pressed spacebar, so I assumed it would supply ground troops as well. I mean, you can stash supplies and ammo for ground troops at an airfield as well. After all, they are usually logistics hubs, so it would make sense. But whatever...mhladnik wrote:Airfields only offer air supply and cannot supply ground troups.
As far as the disappearing cannon is concerned - if it is an aux unit and vanishes right after the mission, it is not much of a prize, isnt it?

Count yourself lucky for even getting to use it in that scenario. When I got it, it spawned next to a city that I hadn't even been near yet. It was then destroyed by the russians before I ever got an opportunity to use it.
I believe there were two objectives that could trigger it, but it always spawns at the same one, whether that is the one which triggered it or not.

I agree, there is no visual indication that the airport number doesn't really count, that's a shame.Andy2012 wrote:
