I've tried setting up branches using the boB as an example, but the campaign always picks the first scenario in the branch.
So I would appreciate some help.

The relevant part of the data.cmp files looks like this:

Is it actually possible to manually select which mission you take during a campaign with the current coding?
I've once merged the Morning and the Rising Sun campaign in the past, but I'm only used to the automatic result-progression from there.

The official mod Battle of Britain is supposed to give the player a choice which scenario to start with.

I ran the BoB mod and it does not give you the option to choose between the unit demo scenario and the 'real' one. It just opens the first scenario.
So it seems branching is currently not supported.

BoB always start with the unit presentation scenario. I was expecting to be able to skip it by choosing the second scenario in the branch. Some kind of letting the player select between scenarios in a branch.

I'm confused. I click the "BoB" scenario marker which selects it and then click launch. Now I'm playing the BoB scenario instead of the unit demo. Is that not what you are seeing?

Updated the mod in v2.9.9

Launching the campaign opens the unit demo scenario. There's no option to choose between this and the other scenario. I would expect to be able to do this is a branch, select between them.
Or does branch mean something different in OOB?
