Campaign start lacking UI - Carte blanche bug

Greetings, tech support.

Today, I upgraded my OOB: Pacific to OOB: World War II + BLitzkrieg.

Besides not being able to load any of my old savegames (when I try to load them, the loading bar doesn't fill up), which I'm not too stressed about, the bigger problem is I can't seem to start a new campaign either.
After clicking the 'Launch' button, I'm taken to a big, blank map of Asia and the game just sits like that, without giving me any kind of a user interface to interact with.

I tried deleting my data from the My Documents OOB folder, but the problem persists.

EDIT:
Trying to start a Multiplayer hotseat, the loading bar isn't filling up either. :/

Nope, hotfix didn't help, the problem persists.

once you have done this retry and report back, site version is slightly different as you have said you have already deleted the settings file from the my docs folder correct?

Site version, and yes, I have deleted the whole folder in My Documents, the tutorial messages and settings have reset themselves, problem persists.

if the hot fix and deleting the settings file hasn't worked, and you have already deleted your saves etc, my advice would be to uninstall it all, then make sure both folders eg the install folder and my doc's folders are deleted and reinstall again, as it seems you have some install problems.

when reinstalling, install as admin, to the default location, making sure anything it asks you agree to, eg permissions and any re distributables / pre requisite etc

install all and patch to the latest level and see if a fresh install fixes it all

add the exe of the game to your Anti Virus and firewall program, to make sure check the logs of these to see if it was one if any of them was to blame.

That usually means a 3rd party program, like an Internet security programs, is or could be interfering with the game or update installation.

run the game from a admin account and use full admin permissions.

please make sure all game pre requisite are installed with the game, even if you think or fully know there are already installed, it will only over write, and it may be that you have a older or newer version of these where as the game in question may need a certain version.

please make sure you are running the latest game version and have up to date drivers installed on your pc,

If you have the original version. So you'll need to update it from the Internet.
Please note that you'll only need the last update, as the updates are comprehensive. (not needed with steam)

Did everything as instructed, nothing seems to have helped.

Guess I'll just have to forget about Blitzkrieg and go back to playing OOB Pacific.

Same here but with Pacific,

I found out that the bug can be reproduced when using the quick launcher.
When starting the game from the game menu the bug does not appear.
And i did some tests and I think that the bug appeared after installing the latest hotfix.
I hope this helps.

I tried running from launcher and from the exe directly, as administrator and without admin rights, and the bug was there before I applied the hotfix.

I'm running out of ideas what might be the issue, really >-<

Create another Administer Windows account and do the following:
1. Uninstall the game
2. Download the file attached in this message OoB_ClRegx64.zip
3. Unzip the downloaded file and run the extracted file OoB_ClRegx64.reg
4. Allow the "program" to delete the Windows registry keys regarding the game
5. Reboot Windows and login in your Windows account
6. Install Order of Battle: WW2
7. Run the game and exit
8. Install update 2.9.6
9. Install your DLC campaigns

Run the game and check if the issue persists.
