Two questions

Hey, I am big Panzer Corps fan, and fan of every Panzer General and Peopels General as well . I have two questions, what are diffiriences between various difficulties in game and second one is how to unlock Guderian/Manstein/Rommell ?

Mainly it is about prestige and experience gain. Stepping difficulty up, decreases yours and increases that of the AI. Moreover above Colonel the AI gets smarter in terms of what units to move and shoot first. I think the AI gets more equipment as well.

Rommel etc. gets unlocked once you have beaten the game on Field Marshal. If you are good at Panzer General, you will have little trouble to adjust here. So General and maybe even Field Marshal will be fine. Colonel put you on equal footing with the AI, so that might be too easy.

I chose field marshall level, but I set prestige for both sides on 100. Will that still count as field marshall dif. ?

I do not think so.

I think when you click on Field Marshall level you need to keep it as it is set up to unlock and playing the grand campaign will not unlock it you have to play through either, Allied Campaign, Vanilla Campaign, or Afrika Korps Campaign, and possibly the Soviet Corps Campaign to unlock Rommel, Guderian, or Manstein levels.

or just change the relevant game value from 0 to 1 if you just want to try the secret levels and can spare the pride you get achieving it the way goose showed you

For my part as a forever "colonel" player it was just to satisfy my curiosity what happens on Rommel asap, but not play through a full campaign again.
So far I can say my fears that Rommel would spoil the fun or my approach to the game a lot, not speaking about losing the feeling what can be attacked and what not yet was absolutely not justified.
That goes for Afrika Korps (Italian Challenge) only.
I doubt I have the guts start a grand campaign 39-45 especially the east route though as the Fighter Trapping and Prestige Gathering via Surrender do not elude me completely, but I'm world aparts from that systematic harvesting braccada demonstrates in his videos

run regedit navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/slitherine/panzer corps and modify the ShowBonusLevels entry to 1. If you don't have knowledge of how the registry works, avoid this way because if you do anything wrong you may damadge your computer.
