Retreat Priority, maybe bug ?

Post by victory »

Hi,
so this is a german move and attak in Zone Stepino low left of the map, german wins and occupy and russian inf unit retreats in below zone Andreapol ...
I think folowing the rules of retreat it should have gone towards his closest suply point that is Kalyasin (in soviet control) 2 zone away from Stepino ... and should have retreated Kimry ?
because for shure in Andreapol he won' be suplied ... or will he ?
So maybe I'm missing something :)

thx

Hi, victory!

You might be right about this one. What happens I think is that when he retreats, he still takes into calculation the fact that Stepino is Soviet. That is why for the unit retreating, it doesn't really matter if it retreats to Kimry or to Andreapol. I will try to reproduce this one myself and see if there's something we can do about it. It's a really tricky one.

Thanks for reporting this, victory!

yes my unit became out of suply the next turn !
so if you want to follow the rule, the unit should have moved to his closest active suply center, red/white circle !

thx

Retreat follows the rules in our version now, victory! You will have this fixed in 1.07. :D

Cheers!
