The Order of Battle 2.6.8 patch is out!

Order of Battle fans, good news for you. If you liked how artillery used to work more, then you’ll be glad of hearing that you now have the option to go back to the previous artillery system. That is the highlight of this patch: the developers have listened to the feedback from the community and we hope that this solution will satisfy everyone.

You can download it from the members area.

In the meanwhile, the developers are busy working hard on a big, big, big update. Stay tuned for further news.

Changelog:
- Added option to revert to previous Artillery damage model
- US Artillery range fixed
- AI bug causing very long turns on Treasury Islands map fixed

I was not able to find the auto update in the order of battle WWll game. Do you have a screen shot?

I have the US marines purchased but I can not get online because it needs the update. When I downloaded the patch it did not work and I had to uninstall the patch. Is there a better patch or am I doing something wrong?

That post is where I got the quote from. could not find in on the game menu however I did see an update icon in the program files. After installing this patch many times all I get is a blank screen. yes I have all anti virus disabled.

I have a friend over to multi game with and can not get to the server. The multiplayer error says to use the launcher to get the update but I don't know what that means.

This patch may not to be 64 bit.

Does anyone know what this error is?

Delete the folder named "Settings" in your Windows documents folder at:
...\\Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - WW2
Then run the game.

Update: Yes that seemed to help. I was able to do the patch on another computer and it worked fine there however on this computer deleting the setting only helps to log in and play that game, when I log back out I have to delete settings again in order to get past the "update your version" message.

Problem solved: Answer, I was not running in Administrator mode. I had just switched to non administrator log in so that was the problem. All is fine.

I have tried to download the update for OOB pacific but it keeps failing. Is there a better site to download from? I am trying it from the game menu. Thanks
