Elephants and own cavalry

When you have Elephants and cavalry in the same army, do elephants disorder there own cavalry? or is it assumed that they would get use to each other?

Yes they do disorder but only the immediate base, so practically there is no effect.

Just to be clear as an Elephant only disorders within 1 base even if your own cavalry unit is lined up next to the Elephants since cavalry are normally 2 bases deep only 2 bases would be affected. As you lose 1 dice per 3 bases affected this therefore has no impact in terms of dice lost. It would affect CMT for the unit and the ability of those bases to give rear support.
