Hi all -
Thank you very much for any advice you can give. I have just bought the Panzer Corps base game and I am not sure what to do right now. Here is my question:
Can anyone give me a comparison between the full £29.99 Grand Campaign set which Steam is selling and some of the great player-made campaigns advtd. on Slitherine (e.g.: GTPG Grand Campaign v.1.15)
I am particularly interested in the Eastern Front (perhaps: Panzer Corps DMP Ostfront?).
Maybe the simple question is: Is the full £29.99 Grand Campaign so much better than any player-made campaign that it justifies paying the full price for it ? If it truly is, then I would definitely buy it.
Thank you . I appreciate it.
Apology: I am not at all qualified to make comparisons. So I am not, in any way, criticising the obviously excellent work modders are presently doing.
Grand Campaigns comparisons ?

Re: Grand Campaigns comparisons ?
I bought the Grand Campaign Package 3/4 months ago. Started playing it 5/6 battles and went back to the GTPG SS v1.15.
I've played this user mod on and off for 3 years or so. The first two times I abandoned the play thru. With the experience I learned from the first two tries, I started and finally completed the campaign on the third try.
On my 4th and current play through I increased the difficulty level for the campaign. Still enjoy the tactical challenges after logging hundreds of hours with this mod.
Give the mod Soviet Storm a try if you like the eastern front setting...or the Legacy of Versaile (?) if you want to tackle the mother of all mods!

Re: Grand Campaigns comparisons ?
Stay away from the GC's, if you want good for yourself! I bought all East Front versions, but it was a waste of money: fantasyless, same-working scenarios, total historical inaccuracies...
There is a wide variety of high quality and free custom campaigns. If you feel youself good enought, try to play Battlefield Europe, which has so much extra features, as it would be almost a different game. But be warned: a lot of playtime will gone, before you earn a DV.
