Aaaand it has started.

Capote seems to be having a great start on IckieStickie, but maybe he'll be able to reverse the tide!

In the meanwhile brucep and Delloknon go head to head against each other, but it's still too early to draw conclusions.

Hello IckieStickie, sorry you've been having issues. I am sending you a PM as I'm confused by your posts, though.

It seems there has been a misunderstanding: my comments were just describing the current situation, but the games of the first Round are NOT over! :)

Don't worry IckieStickie, that was just the first turn, you can head in game and play! I'll post a table with the actual definitive scores when the time for the first Round is over.

Looking at the back end, it looks correct, and the scores seem right for you both having played the first couple of turns in each of your paired games.

Hello dear slitherine staff and fellow commanders!

Thanks for this wonderful tournament, and I'm so happy to hear there will be more tournaments in the near future. Tournaments are fantastic, although multiplayer PBEM on slitherine's server is great too, but tournaments give the game a LOT of focus and intensity!! To tell you the truth, I bought originally Battle of the Bulge because of the previous tournament, so eager I was to take part! And I'm very happy I bought the game, it is really a great strategy game, I'm absolutely looking forward to "Drive to Moscow," and hopefully more tournaments

Cheers and good luck to all the tournament's players!

Hi,

Actually, everyone will get multiple matches. The tournaments use a Swiss system to match you up for the next round and they use the points, not Win/Loss to calculate your ranking. So a narrow defeat could still lead to ultimate victory!
