Often instructions are given in the mission briefing to conduct some action against a given island (U.S.Marines), but the island(s!) are not labeled on the map. Very frustrating.
Second beef: Anyway you could come up with something like the "Library" in Panzer Corps, so we would have a more detailed idea of what certain weapons can do and how they can be most effectively used?

Have you tried clicking on the '?' in the order screen?
It should move to the correct section of the map with a red arrow pointing to the location. If there is more than one location, there should be previous/next buttons.
If this is not the case, name the scenario here so the devs can fix it.

The example is from one of my custom multiplayer scenarios.

A library would be great, but it is a fair amount of work to do it properly. So I would not expect this to be high on the to-do list with the number of current game issues.
Note that i have no inside info on this, just my personal opinion.
