What is the use of the bluff action in single player games?

Is the AI affected at all by the player's bluff action? Can it really dupe the AI?

I can see it being somewhat useful in multiplayer, but in single player games it seems pretty much useless.

already answered on steam, buff is a board game move, and helps you win against the AI with an extra bit of FOW

Thanks. I won't double post anymore. Someone on the Steam forum said the developers didn't respond on there, so I duplicated all my questions here.

No more of that. :o)
